Smart SOLUTION
For over a hundred years, thousands of travelers left for America at the Cruise Terminal. It is still used by large passenger ships and is now known for the cafe / restaurant that is located inside the Terminal. To make this monument stand out more, it was decided to process light on the façade. A nice challenge, because the monument could not be affected by installing the lighting. A smart solution is needed!
Subtle WOW
Subtle yet striking. The Cruise Terminal in Rotterdam is a monument that needed to be put in a new light. But how do we add the WOW without damaging the Cruise Terminal? By placing the Spots between grids! The powerful spots shine from the ground into the arches of the façade. This means that no light is attached to the façade itself. The arches of the building now stand in a white light which creates a fresh appearance.
